Micheal Rice
One of entertainments newest choreographers/ creative directors MICHEAL RICE, is taking the world of dance and theatre by storm. Rice utilizes his training in the performing arts and choreographs/direct works utilizing the many musical styles of R&B/Pop / Hip-hop/ Musical Theatre and rock music.

“I believe that showmanship is a very important tool when creating live performances, music and dance should tell a story” Micheal acknowledges many great artist as a key inspiration for his endeavors in theater, music, dance and choreography including: Alvin Ailey, Janet Jackson, Gene Kelly, Tina Landon, Micheal Jackson, Usher, George C. Wolf, Lorraine Hansberry, Bob Fosse, Debbie Allen, Madonna, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson and Mariah Carey. All of these great artists have influenced Micheal Rice as an artist in the world of the performing arts. Micheal has choreographed and directed a slew of shows including Caroline, or Change (Musical Theatre) 3D (a dance revue depicting the three art forms of theatre which includes dance, directing and drama through hip-hop music),Bloodline (A riveting high energy dance showcase featuring Micheal Rice’s original choreography) Cotton Club Revue (musical theater), Guys and Dolls (musical theater), Dream girls(musical theatre), Medea (Greek play), To Be Young, Gifted and Black (Contemporary play), City Heights (An original play written by Micheal Rice) and JACK (New York City Playwrights festival). His film credits include: Just my Luck, Law and Order and Bedford Diaries.

Abandoning the Cliché stereotype of choreographers who just provide dances, Micheal Rice is an overall asset within a production team. Rice not only serves as a chorographer but a creative director providing show concepts, creating set, multi- media, light and sound designs. All of Micheal’s talent, hard work and determination have resulted in many awards and accolades including: The American College Theatre festival (ACTF) award for Best Choreography in a play and The Earl Sasser award for Choreographer of the year at Prairie View A&M University. This multi-threat is residing in the entertainment capital of the world, New York City. Micheal is currently choreographing and directing theatrical off Broadway productions and tour shows in New York and around the United States.
